Teotihuacan is trampled by tourists.
But we are not tourists. We're on a student outing
to Teotihuacan, 'the city where gods are born', climbing the steps
of the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. In our class of eight people,
most are from the States and they seem to know all about everything.
I'm learning a lot this week. Spanish in Mexico
is completely different from the European version. What people eat
is a world away from what we call 'Mexican' food at home. And no-one
wears ponchos or sits on a donkey.
