So many things to do,
so little time.
A cliché, but true if I want to take a few
days off after Easter with this huge 'Visions' project going on.
On top of everything at work, I really would like
to finish reading the guidebook before I set off to Syria.
Guidebooks are good to get to grips with the basics.
Money. Transport. People. Customs - in both senses of the word.
Essential knowledge when travelling to somewhere like Syria.
But - thanks to the time-honoured tradition of 'sod's
law' - if I buy a guidebook before I set foot in the airport, I
am unlikely to make it to that destination.
Boston, Hawaii and Oslo are some of the unvisited
places insulating my toilet. Easter Island and Fiji are in the hall. |
