Staggering down a cobbled alley on the way to
the tube is what a Friday eveing in London is all about.
Tonight, it's taking all my energy to avoid the
puddles. The raindrops are refreshing and making me want to dip
my feet in the pools of water at the roadside. But I'm not drunk
enough to forget that I don't have a job to go to on Monday, so
it's not an ideal time to destroy a pair of shoes.
The travel show was buzzing. Jake wanted to know
all about eco-friendly travel. Gemma wanted to seduce Jake. And
I ended up with a whole bunch of free pens.
So many exciting places to visit and so many activities
you can do when you're there. Diving. Riding. Sailing. I don't even
know what kayaking is. Luckily I've still got this bag of bumpf.
Thought I might leave it in the pub by mistake. Going to take me
the whole weekend to sort through it. Will have to dig up my old
atlas from school. Not sure it's going to be that much use, though,
as the world has changed slightly since 1982.
