Here are 10 ways to spend an active afternoon in Seville:

  1. Orientate yourself on a walking tour around the main sights with Sevilla Walking Tours.

  2. Hire a horse-drawn carriage to tour the city centre. Carriages await outside the Cathedral and at various other places. It should cost about €40 for a half-hour tour for up to four people.

  3. Hop on and off an open-top bus. Try: www.sevillatour.com and www.busturistico.com

  8. Cruise along the Guadalquivir river from the Quinto Centenario bridge to the Island of La Cartuja.
