in Toulouse:
- Take a walking tour around the
historical centre. The Tourist
Office organises two-hour tours every Saturday at 15.00. Tours
run daily in the summer. Adults €9, under 16s €6,
under 10s free-of-charge.
- Hire a bike from the Vélo
Station behind the Capitole. Half day €1, day + night €3.

- Cruise along the Garonne River
with Bateaux
Toulousains. Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Daily in
summer. Adults €7.
- View fine arts at the Musée
des Augustins - Adults €2.40, under 18s free-of-charge.
Nearest metro is Esquirol - or marvel at the chapel of

- Covered markets: Place Victor Hugo, St Cyprien - Flowers: Place

- Toulouse is home to the electronics and aeronautical
industries. Take a bus tour of the Airbus aeronautical
plant and see Concorde. Adults €14, under 18s €11.
- Learn about space travel at
the Cité
de l'Espace theme park and planetarium on the outskirts of
Toulouse. Adults €20. Under 15s €13. Family passes
are available.
- Visit the Musée du Vieux Toulouse
(Museum of Historical Toulouse). 7 rue du May. Nearest metro Capitole.

- Stroll around the Prairie
des Filtres, gardens that border the Garonne river. Nearest
metro Republique.
- Travel out of town along
the A61 to visit picturesque Carcassonne,
a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
