Get a ticket to ride at Chessington

Noah - aged seven - could quite happily have spent three months pelting soft balls across Dennis' Madhouse in Beanoland at Chessington World of Adventures.

But we had a full programme of thrills and rides. Not to mention animals to visit. And just one day. So we could only spare a couple of hours.

Luckily, there is something for everyone at Chessington - whether you're a pirate, a dragon-slayer or a vampire. And whether you prefer sea lions, monkeys or creepy crawlies.

The queues weren't too long, so we took turns to choose a zone. Then we went on the water logs at dragon falls again and again until we were all ready to drop.

You can get passes that allow you to jump the queues for some of the major rides. An annual pass is worth considering if you really do want to spend three months in Dennis' Madhouse.
