Tim Harvey is circumnavigating the northern hemisphere in a clockwise direction from Vancouver in Canada.

Harvey, who is currently sailing across the Atlantic, is using only 'raw human energy' on his journey around the world. He expects to land in South America in April and will make his way to Canada by bike.

In January 2006, he had reached the Canary Islands, after having crossed Alaska, Russia and Europe by foot, bicycle, skis and oars.
