Operation South Georgia tells of the first UK team to circumnavigate the remote sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia by sea kayak. The journey took 14 days.

Only one month earlier, the Adventure Philosophy team became the first people ever to circumnavigate South Georgia by sea kayak.

Though they were not the first to circumnavigate the island, Operation South Georgia team were able to beat the 25-day record set by Adventure Philosophy.
