| African
Impact is looking for volunteers for its projects dedicated
to the release of captive-bred lions into the wild. This helps stem
the dramatic decline of Africa's lion population.
Two projects, based in Zimbabwe, are funded by volunteers,
who walk young lions into the bush to get them used to the smells
and sights. It is important for the lions to learn about the natural
environment before their release.
African Impact says that without the funding and
time given by volunteers it would not be possible to release the
lions back into the wild. |
