The Red Cross is holding a trek along Kenya's Rongai Trail to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro from October 23rd to November 1st. The event will raise funds for vulnerable people in crisis.

The charity has also organised a 3-peaks challenge in the UK for July 2007. Participants will attempt to climb the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours.
